A large part of the vision of Johnson Chiropractic, P.A. is to ensure that all people have reasonable access to NUCCA care.Many of our patients are forced to drive several hours each way for correction because no care is available near their home.We have trained several interns and associates since 1998 and some of them practice in Minnesota.For a directory of NUCCA doctors in Minnesota and surrounding states please log onto www.nucca.org and click on “Patients & Visitors” and then on “Locate a Doctor”.

If you do not have a qualified NUCCA specialist in your community or you wish to receive your correction at our clinic anyway, the following information will help you to plan for your care.

Patients driving 1½-3 hours each way

Organize your schedule so that you can be available on a Monday or Wednesday for the entire day.

• Examination and x-rays will be taken in the morning.
• The doctor will analyze your films during the lunch hour.
• You will be rescheduled for a report of findings, spinal correction and follow-up x-rays in the afternoon.The doctor may wish to briefly analyze these films before sending you home.
• You will be asked to make a follow-up appointment 2-4 days after the initial correction.
• During that appointment the doctor will make recommendations for additional care (the average is 4-8 visits over the next 12 weeks).

Patients driving more than 3-4 hours each way

It is recommended that you plan to stay a minimum of 3 days but up to 5 days (depending on the severity of the problem).The first appointment should be on Monday morning.

After the initial week you will be expected to make two follow-up appointments, each requiring an overnight stay.

The closest hotel to our office is the AmericInn which is 3 miles west of our clinic, located on the corner of Co. Rd. 42 and Cedar Avenue in Apple Valley. They have set aside a special room rate of $74 for our patients.  To receive this special rate mention "Spinal Care - Johnson" when you call.
