I have been having chiropractic care for 7 years. I have been to several chiropractor who were recommended by satisfied patients. However due to the nature of my injury I was unable to get relief from these non-NUCCA chiropractors. When chiropractors twisted my neck it gave me a worse headache than before I sought treatment. No kidding. Before I came to Johnson Spinal Care I was in a lot of pain. I slept a lot and cried a lot. After my first treatment my headaches disappeared. I kept improving and now come to the cities every few months to keep in alignment. I drive about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours depending on traffic.
I woke up this morning at 5am with face, neck and head pain. Immediately after the adjustment I felt instant relief. I had had trouble concentrating but after the adjustment it felt like I had walked into a well lit room from the darkness.

I have experienced chronic pain for many years as a result of 2 car accidents. During that time I have tried physical therapy, other chiropractic treatments, and steroid injections as well as several medications. After being treated at Johnson Spinal Care Associates I am pain free most days and if I do experience pain it is short lived. I am now able to do things I had given up on such as sitting through theater performances, doing my own vacuuming and working without pain.

Just a quick note – for as long as I can remember (50 years) and prior to my MVA, my blood pressure has been a rock solid 120/80. However, since my MVA, it has been consistently elevated. I have kept records and the average is in the neighborhood of 165/95 or higher.
My last two visits to my primary care physician coincided with my atlas being in place for relatively long periods of time, in my case 2-3 weeks. As I predicted to the nurse prior to her taking my blood pressure it would be “low” because my atlas is in place. To both her and my physicians amazement, both readings were within a couple of points of my normal 120/80.
Thanks – we have more work to do, but out of all the trips to the specialists, pain clinics, including Mayo, you have provided way more corrective treatment than anyone.

My name is Lynn. I suffered from chronic fatigue for approximately 9 years. I had flu like symptoms that often would leave me in bed for days at a time. This was all occurring during a time in which my girls were growing up and I knew I could never have this time back. I was also taking care of 8-10 kids at a daycare. Each year I found myself getting progressively more sick. In 2002 I was forced into retiring from daycare because of my poor health.

I was diagnosed about 15 years ago with fibromyalgia and have tried many different prescription medications at different doses, other chiropractors and physical therapy to help with my symptoms. I went into my medical doctor and requested that he help me wean off the two drugs which I had been taking morning and night for 15 years for fibromyalgia. He was very helpful and referred me to a naturalistic doctor to support me on the nutritional end and she then recommended I go to Johnson Spinal Care Associates to help with my complaints of fatigue, headaches, pain in my hands, legs, feet and upper back and neck.
It was a commitment on my part to undertake this treatment plan since I had to travel 1 3/4 hours to get to the office from my home. It was worth it and I plan on continuing as needed.
I have been in alignment and held my adjustment for the last 3 weeks and I am feeling well. I have no pain in my legs, feet and hands and the pain in my upper back and neck are almost completely gone. I don't have the headaches that I had on an average 3 times a week which would wake me up at night. What a relief!!
